• Take decent portraits for using on LinkedIn and Gravatar - and Facebook
• Ask for a contribution to a charity (this is important - you are not charging for the portraits)
• Email the portraits out

The benefits are

• You get to help a charity
• People at last get decent gravatars and LinkedIn mug-shots

The world is already a better place with fewer dreadful portraits - but wait...

• You've got a much higher profile and people will remember you
